In 2021, one of CLC, Inc.'s board members pulled me to the side after a meeting. Gordon England was concerned about the students that may not qualify for assistance in our training programs. During our meeting I mentioned that there are times when programs will cover a student's tuition if the applicant is a military veteran, has a criminal background, meets certain income/dependent requirements, etc. Simply put, many of our financial assistance programs may not help someone that just wants to obtain an education and start a new career. That's when Mr. England asked me to start our Scholarship Fund and kicked if off with a contribution from his own pocket! He wanted everyone with a desire to learn and achieve to have the opportunity to do so.

Fast forward to today... We are nearing the end of 2022, and have helped 57 students with tuition assistance with this scholarship funding. A number of other organizations and individuals have made contributions to the fund. Scholarship recipients have received an average of $1,427.72 in tution assistance. Some students receive full scholarships, but most are receiving a partial award, allowing us to stretch the funding further and help more of our applicants.

Former students that have gone on to be successful in their industries are encouraged to contribute to the fund. This grows the fund and allows us to continue helping people in our community!

The training programs at CLC, Inc. are intended to help our students find work QUICKLY. We do things differently than most schools here. I encourage anyone and everyone to come and take a look for yourself.

The application is available on our website and is open to anyone!

The beauty of the scholarship fund is that it's available to anyone. No matter your financial status, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, criminal background, etc. If you are a person that is interested in one of our training programs, you are eligible to apply.
