Students will be provided with the basic hand tools that will be required to start a career in the HVAC industry.
Learn to become an HVAC Technician with CLC, Inc. You will have an instructor with over 40 years of experience, and a team of dedicated non-profit staff on your side. In just 10 weeks you will go from knowing nothing about air conditioning & heating to meeting our employer partners.
Our HVAC training can lead to multiple career paths: Residential A/C, Commercial A/C, Appliance repair, Commercial refrigeration, Building maintenance, Apartment maintenance, & Automobile A/C.

Entry Requirements
- Ability to work in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 8.0 on Reading & Math TABE test
- Relatively clean criminal background (case-by-case)
- Current Driver's license or State ID
- Social Security Card
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Learning Outcomes
- Students will learn HVAC fundamentals, the science behind it, safety practices, electrical components, and how to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems. Job search and interviewing techniques will also be taught.
- These skills are applicable to HVAC Technicians in the industry. This course covers everything needed to become an entry-level HVAC Technician.
- The Environmental Protection Agency 608 Universal Certification is included.
