"Retired military. Found a second career through this course."
Explore Aerospace Training →"Before attending CLC, I knew I wanted to get into the trades, especially HVAC, but I didn't have the hands-on experience to get started. The MRT program helped me build a strong foundation in maintenance, basic electrical work, tools, and safety, while also giving me more insight into HVAC and how systems work in real-world situations. I also gained OSHA knowledge and learned how to work safely and efficiently on a job site. The program helped me build confidence in myself and my skills, and now I feel more prepared to start my career in HVAC and continue growing in the trades. I'm grateful for the opportunity and would recommend CLC to anyone looking to get started."

It wasn't til Andre (one of my instructors) texted me — he asked 'hey I have an opening available in June,' so I said yes, that'll do. Then not even two weeks later he texted me 'hey, I have an opening in January, first come first serve kind of thing, so please let me know if you would want it,' so obviously I said yes to that. Then came the snow storm, we missed on the first two days of class. But hey, it is what it is. First day finally came (boring as always), then the next 5 weeks was pure fun and hell at the same time. Learned how to lay down carbon and fiberglass together, which was cool in itself. The last 2 weeks was hell though. Couldn't keep lines straight to save my life. Nonetheless I still passed with a B-. Pretty proud of myself for how I did. I want to give a big shoutout to Andre and Mitch for taking their time to teach our class on how to do this kind of stuff, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be in the career that I'm in now. Now granted yes it took exactly 6 weeks post graduation (ironic right?) for me to get a job. But hey that's life. Now I'm a painter for a company called Northwest Pipe Company (NWPX). Again thank you Andre and Mitch."

Crazy thing is I've walked by this CLC building my entire life not knowing the benefits and knowledge I could receive there. There are so many ways to get tuition assistance, so you may not have to come out of pocket for the whole amount. Plus, it only takes 2 months to complete a course and get your certifications, while a great team stands behind you helping you push forward into your new career! I tell everyone to stop wasting your time and learn something new."
